To maintain the proper clearance
between a downflow furnace and a
combustible floor, install a
combustible floor base where a
furnace is installed on a combustible
floor. See the installation and
operating instructions for the correct
combustible floor base part number
or refer to Table 8.

The kit enables a heat pump to
utilize this furnace as auxiliary heat.
It consists of relays and controls to
cycle the furnace during a second
stage heat call and during defrost.
The RXPF-F02 kit uses a solid state
control and meets TV A
requirements.
DO NOT USE any other fossil fuel
kits with this furnace.

Return air cabinets attach on the rear or either side,
preferably opposite the gas and electrical connections of
the upflow furnace. The exception is the RXGR-C24B
which may be installed on the rear or left side only.
