NEUTRALIZER KIT - RXGY • A01
The neutralizer kit is used to treat
condensate. It neutralizes the acids
in the condensate when condensate
drains into a metal pipe or where a
collection of drain water would cause
corrosion problems if left untreated.
CONDENSATE PUMP KIT

The pump lifts condensate water for
disposal such as out of a basement
or closet where condensate water
must be lifted above the furnace
drain outlet.
HORIZONTAL VENT KITS

These are the standard and alternate
horizontal vent and air intake kits.
They can be used in areas subject
to freezing or non-freezing
temperatures. They consist of PVC
elbows, intake pipe drain tee with
trap, vent termination and wind
deflection vane.

RXGY • C01: ALL UNITS
This kit is a combination horizontal
air intake and exhaust requiring only
one penetration through the wall.
It should be used where extended
periods of sub-freezing weather
occur and may be used for any
horizontal direct vent installation.
It is adaptable for walls up to
16 inches thick.
EXTERNAL SIDE FILTER RACKS
External bottom and side filter
frames may be ordered to use with
upflow bottom and side return air
applications. Top external filter
frames with front access may be
ordered for downtlow applications.
Filters come with the filter frames.

This kit is a combination vertical air
intake and exhaust requiring only
one penetration through the root.
It should be used where extended
periods of sub-freezing weather
occur and may be used on any
vertical direct vent installation.

A high altitude kit must be used at
elevations of 5000 feet and above.
This kit consists of a replacement
pressure switch for locations above
5000 feet, and replacement natural
gas orifices for locations above
8000 feet.
The furnace comes packed with the
high altitude pressure switch and
orifices when ordered under the
option code 278 (Canada - 298).

(-)G RJ/( )GT J units require a special
twinning kit. This kit contains
additional blower door switches to
ensure that if either blower door
opens, both furnaces shut down.
Any attempts to twin ·'J" series
furnaces without this kit can result in
operational problems.
(·)GRJ UPFLOW FURNACE
BOTTOM KIT
RXGB-O17, ·D21, -D24
A solid base plate MUST be in place
if installing (-)GRJ series units with
side or back return air. This
accessory provides a factory made
bottom base plate to enclose the
blower compartment when
connecting a return air duct to the
unit side or back. The furnace
comes with the optional base plate
installed when ordered under the
new option code #263.
