5 Web Operations
You can access and manage the Device from web interface on PC.
The web interface provides the functions such as monitoring channels, searching for recorded
files, settings configuring, configuring system, and PTZ control.
There are several browsers are supported, including Safari, Firefox, and IE.
Initial Settings 5.1
5.1.1 Initializing Device
When booting up for the first time or after restoring to factory default, you need to initialize the
Device. The Device can be configured and operated only after initialization.
Preparation
Make sure the correct network connection between PC and the Device.
Procedure
Open the browser, enter the Device IP address (the default IP address is

192.168.1.108), and then press Enter.
The password setting interface is displayed. See Figure 5-1.

In the New Password box, enter the new password and enter it again in the Confirm Step 2
Password box. Click Next.
