How to troubleshoot Datalogic Scanner when the power LED is off?
    • C
      Connie StuartSep 7, 2025
If the “Power On” LED is not lit on your Datalogic Scanner, here are a few things to check: * Verify the power connection. * If using a power adapter (like PG6000), ensure it is connected to an AC source. * If using rail power, confirm that the rail has power. * If using C-BOX 100, check that it has power by checking the switch and LED. Also, verify whether you're using the 25/26-pin connector or the C-BOX 100 spring clamp connectors and measure the voltage either at pin 13 and pin 25 (for 25/26-pin connector) or at spring clamp 1 (for C-BOX 100).

How to fix Datalogic DS6300 Barcode Reader when it is not possible to read the target barcode?
    • M
      Molly WardSep 2, 2025
If your Datalogic Barcode Reader consistently returns 'No Read' when trying to scan a barcode, check the synchronization of the reading pulse with the object. Position the barcode in the center of the scan line and use the TEST MODE (selectable via Genius™ in Operating Modes). If issues persist, ensure the reading distance is within the allowed range (refer to the reading diagrams). Enable various code types (excluding Pharmacode) under the CODE tab and set LENGTH to Variable. Verify the barcode quality. If still unsuccessful, try the BARCODE TEST CHART included with the product.

To troubleshoot a Datalogic Barcode Reader that is not triggered in Serial On Line Mode, first, in the Genius™ program, check if serial on line is enabled as the “On Line options” parameter value in the OPERATING MODE folder. Also, verify that the Start-Stop strings are correctly assigned and that the serial trigger source is correctly connected and configured.

    • K
      keithsylviaAug 30, 2025
If the “Power On” LED is not lit on the Datalogic Barcode Reader, check the following: 1. Is power connected? 2. If using a power adapter (like PG6000), is it connected to the wall outlet? 3. If using rail power, does the rail have power? 4. If using C-BOX 100, does it have power (check switch and LED)? Check if you are referring to the 25/26-pin connector or the C-BOX 100 spring clamp connectors. Measure voltage either at pin 13 and pin 25 (for 25/26-pin connector) or at spring clamp 1 (for C-BOX 100).
