5 Planning the installation

The solar inverter has protection degree IP65 and
can be installed indoors or in protected outdoor
areas (that means outdoor but protected by a roof
against direct sun, rain or snow).
5.3 Ambient conditions and air circula-
tion

Ensure adequate air circulation. Hot air must be
able to dissipate downward. Keep enough space
around each inverter.
Do not install inverters directly above one another.
Otherwise, the lower inverter is warmed up by the
upper one.
Consider the operating temperature range (see
“13. Technical data”, p. 105).
When the operating temperature range is exceed-
ed, the solar inverter reduces the amount of power
generated.
