Display Explanation
1 Std-by In standby mode controllers do not require to have an
room temperature setpoint, therefore basic menu with
an room temperature setpoint is deactivated in active
standby mode.
The limit values for the standby mode are fixed by the
controller and can only be changed using MATRIX.PC
service tool.
The control system works with own saved setpoints (in
controller). Control is not based on a fixed setpoint, but
on a pre-defined setpoint range.
2 Normal opera-
tion
The control system works with the setpoints for the
normal mode (day operation).
3 Economy
mode
The control system works with the set setpoints for the
economy mode (night operation).
4 Clock Timer Switching between normal mode and economy mode
occurs according to the settings of the clock timer (time
programs).
5 Preference The next switching moment takes preference once.
Further operation is performed in the preset switching
times. If the time program has activated the economy
mode, normal operation can be activated with the
menu item "Preference". This operation state remains
enabled until the next switching point for the economy
mode.
For example;
The timer programme is active and day operation is
set, but the office is empty before the changeover to
night operation, in this case it is possible to use "Prefe-
rence" and switch to night operation before time.
NOTICE!
If the economy mode is activated, the setpoint values configurated for the economy
mode are shown (see the „Economy mode“ on page 58 in the Kapitel 8.6.16.2).
This means that the setpoint displays switch from the normal controller parameters
to the economy mode controller parameters. The displayed setpoint values of the
economy mode can be changed analogous to the setpoint values of the normal ope-
ration.
