STEP 15 - FIGURE 90
Clean the cutter head shaft (item 2). Put the Woodruff
key (item 7) in its key-way. Slide the sheave (item 1) on
the cutter head shaft (item 2). Adjust the sheave so that
a maximum clearance of 1/32” to 1/16” (0.8 to 1.5) is ob-
tained between the sheave’s side contour (item 3) and
the piston bolt (item 4) and/or the tip of the left support
bolt (item 5).
Secure the sheave in this position with a 5/8” x 4” lg hex-
agonal bolt (item 6), a lock washer and a nut.
