This variable is used to configure the source of Hardware Input 8.

This variable is used to configure the number of cooling and heating stages of the unit. The number of
cooling stages also represents the number of compressor stages when the unit is configured for HPU.

This variable is used to configure the reversing valve for heat pump unit operation. When the valve is
set to either cooling or heating, the system is considered to be a heat pump unit.

1 = Unconfig : The system is not a heat pump unit
2 = Cooling : The reversing valve must be energized in cooling mode
3 = Heating : The reversing valve must be energized in heating mode
