Parameter Description
Optimum Start Cooling Factor
Enter the number of minutes required by the system to lower the room temperature by 1
degree. The optimum start algorithm will use this variable to calculate the required pre-
cooling start time.
Optimum Start Heating Factor
Enter the number of minutes required by the system to raise the room temperature by 1
degree. The optimum start algorithm will use this variable to calculate the required
morning warmup start time.
Optimum Start Maximum Startup
Time
Enter the number of minutes the maximum startup time allows before the occupied
mode.
Optimum Start Factor Weight
This variable is used to configure the % of the new factor that will be taken into account
to calculate the new Optimum Start Cooling Factor or Optimum Start Heating Factor.
Enable Cooling/Heating Factor
Recalibration
Enable or disable whether the system should automatically update Optimum Start
Cooling Factor and/or Optimum Start Heating Factor.
Optimum Start Mode
Choose the configuration of the optimum start mode.
Auto
– Optimum start for both cooling and heating setpoints.
HeatOnly
– Optimum start for heating setpoints only.
CoolOnly
– Optimum start for cooling setpoints only.
Disable
– Optimum start disabled.
Outside Air Dampers Parameters
In this subsection, the outside air dampers can be configured.
Parameter Description
Minimum Damper Position
Enter the minimum dampers position when the system is in occupied mode or standby
mode. The dampers will be set to this position in standby mode only if Minimum
Position while in Standby Mode (BV15) is set to enable.
Absolute Minimum Damper Position
(CO
2
)
Enter the minimum dampers position when the system is equipped with either a space
or return CO
2
sensor. The dampers will be set to this position in standby mode only if
the variable Minimum Position while in Standby Mode (BV15) is set to enable. Dampers
will modulate between this value and Minimum Damper Position (AV32) on a CO
2
detection.
Minimum Position while in Standby
Mode
Enter the minimum position the dampers should be set to while in standby mode. When
this variable is disabled, the dampers are set to the minimum position only in occupied
mode.
Minimum Discharge Air Temperature
Enter the minimum discharge temperature limit for the outside air dampers control
signal.
Outside Air Enthalpy Setpoint Enter the outdoor enthalpy setpoint below which the economizer will be enabled.
Differential Mode Enthalpy Setpoint
Enter the maximum enthalpy setpoint for both the outdoor and return enthalpy when the
economizer is enabled based on the difference between the outdoor and return
enthalpy.
Maximum Outdoor Air Temperature
for Dampers
Enter the absolute maximum outdoor temperature above which the economizer is
disabled.
Unit is Equipped with an Economizer
Indicate if the unit is equipped with an economiser. When set to Yes, the cooling stage
1 will always be enabled to provide for economizer control.
Dampers Lockout Status
Enable or disable the economizer based on the outside air temperature, the return air,
and outside air enthalpy.
