5 Install the nut bock and spacer to the front of the extended carriage support
bracket using two 5/16-18 x 1.5-inch bolts, two 5/16-inch lock washers, two 5/16-
inch flat washers, and two 5/16-inch nuts.
6 Install the front carriage clamp and spacer to the front of the extended carriage
support bracket using two 5/16-18 x 1.5-inch bolts, two 5/16-inch lock washers,
two 5/16-inch flat washers, and two 5/16-inch nuts.

INSTALLING THE EXTENDED CARRIAGE
1 Remove the four 1/4 x 20-inch button-head screws securing the bearing bracket to
the carriage.
2 Remove the bearing bracket and the carriage screw.
