9.4 Time behavior of the inputs and outputs
9.4.1 Delay time on EASY-E4-DC-... devices
9.4.1.1 Delay time with DEBOUNCE activated
When DEBOUNCE is activated, the delay time for DC signals is 20 ms.

An input signal S1 must therefore be > 15V on the input terminal for at least 20 ms
before the switch contact will change from 0 to 1 (A). If applicable, this time must also
include the cycle time (B) since a easyE4 device does not detect the signal until the
start of a cycle.
When the DC voltage signal drops out from 1 to 0 and DEBOUNCE is active, the same
delay time (C) of 20ms is applied before the signal is transferred to the next circuit dia-
gram cycle. For this the input signal S1 must be < 5 V at the input terminal.
