6.1 Manufacturer function blocks

Value range
In value range mode, the value range of the associated variables will be the value
range for possible status values – please refer to → "Elementary data types", page
226.
This value range can be subdivided further so that the appropriate message text
will be output based on the value of the associated variables. In this case, the sub-
division will always start with the status value that was entered and end before
the next status value that is entered. Moreover, the default text will be shown for
any value that is less than the lowest specified status value. And for each value
that is greater than or equal to the highest specified status value, the message
text for that status value will be shown (all the way to the end of the value range).

