Measuring tap, nozzle pressure (pos. 2)
1.Withthedryeroff,loosenthegaspressuretap
(pos.2)one-quarterofaturnandconnecta
manometertothetap.
2.Removetheignitioncablefromtheignition
electrodeandpositionitsotheendofthecableis
atleast2inchesfromanymetalsurfaceandaway
fromanyareaintowhichyoumustreachtocarry
outthisprocedure.
Thispreventstheburnerfromlighting.
3.StartthedryerwithHighheatselected.
Afterafewseconds,theignitioncontrolwillenergize
thegasvalve.
Checkthatthenozzlepressurereadingonthe
manometeriswithintheallowablerangespecifiedin
theinstallationmanualforthegastypebeingused.
Too high nozzle pressure
Ifthenozzlepressureistoohigh,adjustitby
removingthecap(pos.3)andturningthescrew
(pos.4)beneaththiscapcounter-clockwiseuntilthe
nozzlepressureiscorrect.
Too low nozzle pressure
Ifthenozzlepressureistoolow,itmaybedueto
limitedgasflow(andpressure)onthesupplysideof
thevalve.
1.Turnoffthedryer
2.Closethenozzlepressuremeasuringtap
(pos.2)andmeasurethesupplypressuretap
(asdescribedinsectionMeasuringtap,supply
pressurebelow).
ThesupplypressuremustremainATLEAST1.5
inchesWCabovethedesirednozzlepressure.
Ifitdoesnot,correctiveactionmustbetakenonthe
gassupplysystemtothedryer.
Ifthesupplysidepressureremainsatleast1.5
inchesWCabovethedesirednozzlepressure,the
nozzlepressurecanbeincreasedasdescribed
above,withthemanometerconnectedtopressure
tap(pos.2)byturningscrew(pos.4)beneathcap
(pos.3)clockwise.
