Lint filter switch - Standard door
Function
Thelintfilterswitchensuresthatthedryerwillnotoperatewhenthefilterdoorisopen.
Ifthedryerdoesnotoperatewiththelintfilterdoorclosedandlocked,thelintfilterswitch
mightneedreplacing.
Replacement
1.Disconnectthepowersupplytothedryer.
2.Openthefilterdoor.
3.Unscrewthe2screwsAintheswitchmountingbracketandpulloutthebracketwith
 switch,fig.1.
4.Disconnectthewiresfromtheswitch.
5.Mountthenewswitchonthebracket.
6.Connectwirestothenewswitch.
7.Remountthebracketwiththenewswitch.
8.Closethefilterdoor.
Testing lint filter switch
1.Connectthepowersupplytothedryer.
2.Startthedryer.
3.Ifthedryerdoesnotstartwhenthefilterdoorisclosedandthestartbuttonispressed,
 checkthatthefilterdoormagnetBactivatesthefilterswitchA,fig1+2.
4.Confirmthatthefan,drumandheatallstopwhenthefilterdoorisopenedwhilethe
 dryerisoperating.
