7.7 Ultrasonics Test Procedure
The Ultrasonics Test function measures ultrasonic power dissipated by the ultrasonic stack
with no load. Autotune with Memory (ATM) function ensures that the power supply does
not require any manual adjustments. The ultrasonics test procedure involves an automatic
matching of the frequency of the power supply to the frequency of the converter-booster-
horn stack.
WARNING High Voltage Hazard
Ensure that no one is in contact with the horn when testing the power
supply.
Do not cycle the welding system if either the RF cable or converter is
disconnected.
