7.10 Reset to factory settings
This function resets all, or a specific part, of the holding registers to the factory settings. It is
recommended that a backup of the configuration be made before resetting, so the old transmitter
configuration can be loaded, if necessary.
RRM: Select menu option Tools > Factory Settings.
AMS Device Manager: Tools/Service > Factory Settings.
HART Command: [1, 2, 8].
AMS Device Manager and DeltaV
1. In the AMS Device Manager/DeltaV explorer, select Configure/Service Tools, and choose Reset to
Factory Settings.
2. Select the Factory Settings option.
