Note:
As well as authenticating using Document Capture Pro Server Authentication Edition, you can also use the authentication
feature that only uses the scanner itself. See the Administrator's Guide for details.
Application for Scanning Documents from a Smart Device (Epson
Smart Panel)
Epson Smart Panel is an application that allows you to scan documents using smart devices such as smart phones
and tablet devices. You can save the scanned data in smart devices or cloud services, and send by e-mail.
Even if you do not have a wireless router, you can automatically connect Wi-Fi enabled smart devices to the
scanner by using Wi-Fi Direct.
Application for Updating Software and Firmware (EPSON Software
Updater)
EPSON Soware Updater is an application that installs new soware, and updates rmware and manuals over the
Internet. If you want to check for update information regularly, you can set the interval for checking for updates in
EPSON Soware Updater's auto update settings.
Note:
Windows Server operating systems are not supported.
Starting on Windows

Click the start button, and then select Epson

Enter the application name in the search charm, and then select the displayed icon.

Click the start button, and then select All Programs > Epson Soware > EPSON Soware Updater.
