Scanning Using the Scanner's Control Panel
You can save scanned images from the scanner's control panel to the following destinations.
Computer
You can save the scanned image to a computer connected to the scanner.
Network Folder/FTP
You can save the scanned image to a pre-congured network folder.
Email
You can send the scanned image by email directly from the scanner through a pre-congured email server.
Cloud
You can send the scanned image directly to cloud services that have been registered in advance.
USB Drive
You can save the scanned image directly to a USB drive connected to the scanner.
WSD
You can save the scanned image to a computer connected to the scanner using the WSD feature.

Scanning Originals to a Computer
You can scan originals from the control panel by using jobs created in Document Capture Pro (Windows)/
Document Capture (Mac OS).
Note:
❏ Before scanning, install Document Capture Pro/Document Capture on your computer, create the job, and then assign the
job on the control panel. ere is a preset job that saves scanned images as PDF.
❏ Before scanning, make sure that the scanner is correctly connected to the computer.

Place the originals.

Select Computer on the home screen on the scanner's control panel.
