5. Turn the knob two or three times to make sure that the ribbon is seated correctly. You can
also look at the side of the slip unit to see if the ribbon is in the correct place. See below.

6. Close the front cover of the printer.
EPSON recommends the use of genuine EPSON ribbon cassettes. Ribbon cassettes not
manufactured by EPSON may cause damage to your printer that is not covered by EPSON’s
warranties.
