11.6.2.6.4 pvc ethernet
Use this command to enable forced forwarding (layer-2), to use the function
Virtual MAC addresses and to use the function limitation of End-user de-
vices.
Command level: ecn330(config)#.
Syntax
dslport <dslport> pvc <pvc> ethernet mac-forced-
forwarding {enable|disable} mac-address-count-limit
<mac_address_count_limit>
Arguments:
• <dslport> – Insert the DSL-port no. to configure in the format
a.b.c, which refers to the ECN port (a), the ESN108 port (b) and
the IP DSLAM line (c).
• pvc <pvc> - Configure the specified PVC number. Range 1-8.
• mac-forced-forwarding enable/disable - Enabling or
disabling MAC forced forwarding.
• mac-address-count-limit <mac_address_count_limit>
Sets the maximum number of MAC allowed. Range 0-254. If zero
is set as value the maximum number of CPE devices will be unlim-
ited.

mac-address-count-limit: 0
Command Usage
When MAC forced forwarding is enabled all the End-users upstream data is
checked for destination (layer-2) to be able to prevent MAC spoofing.
Note: Forced forwarding must not be selected together with Broadcast al-
lowed. This option is enabled only if Static IP Address or DHCP are
selected as the CPE Access Method.
