11.6.3.3.5 port-priority
Use this command to configure the priority for the specified interface.
Command level: ecn330(config)#.
Syntax
ecn port <port> spanning-tree port-priority <priority>
Arguments:
port <port> - ECN port number 1-27.
port-priority <priority> - The priority for the ECN port.
Range: 0-240, in steps of 16.
Default Setting
128
Command Usage
This command defines the priority for the use of a port in the Spanning
Tree Algorithm. If the path cost for all ports on a switch are the same, the
port with the highest priority (that is, lowest value) will be configured as an
active link in the spanning tree.
Where more than one port is assigned the highest priority, the port with the
lowest numeric identifier will be enabled.
Example
ecn330(config)# ecn port 1 spanning-tree port-priority 0
11.6.3.3.6 protocol-migration
Use this command to re-check the appropriate BPDU (Bridge Protocol Data
Units) format to send on the selected interface.
Command level: ecn330(config)#.
Syntax
ecn port <port> spanning-tree protocol-migration {en-
able|disable}
