GENERAL
1. INTRODUCTION
This chapter describes equipment of the airplane which is used to extinguish fire. Fire protection is
provided by a hand fire extinguisher, mounted in the cockpit.
Passive fire protection is provided as follows:
• On the inner surface of the engine cowlings is applied fire resistant coating (Section 71-10).
• Hoses of the fuel and oil system in the engine compartment are fitted with fire resistant sleeves
(Section 28-10 and 79-20).
