(c) Align the light (1) with the bracket (3) and attach it with bolts (4), nuts (5) and
washers (6).
(d) Connect wires with the connector (2) to the harness.
(e) Put the light including the bracket (3) on the bracket (7) and attach it with the bolt
(8), nut (9) and washer (10). Slightly tighten the nut.
(f) Adjust the light (refer to par. 2 D.(3)).
(g) Install the light cover W8L (Fig. 06-2).
(3) Adjustment / test – landing / taxi light
(a) Lift the airplane and align it in a horizontal position (Section 08-10) so that the
leveling point NiB 2 is approx. 980 mm from the floor.
(b) Remove the light cover W8L (Fig. 06-2), remove the bolts (17, Fig. 33-8) and
remove the cover (16).
(c) Put the test jig 7810E2550001 in front of the airplane to a position defined by the
distance from the leveling point NiB 1 and the edge of the skin at cutout for the light
in accordance with Fig. 33-9.
(d) Put the jig 7910S7911099 on the light.
(e) Switch the electrical network and the switch LDG LIGHT on.
(f) Make sure that the cone of light falls to the center of the appropriate sighting cross
on the jig (see Fig. 33-9).
(g) Remove the jig, switch the switch LDG LIGHT and the electrical network off.
If the cone of light does not falls to the center of the appropriate sighting cross on
the jig, adjust the light in accordance with this procedure:
1 Switch the electrical network and the switch LDG LIGHT on.
2 Use the adjusting screws (8; 12) to set vertical and horizontal position of the
light so that the cone of light falls to the center of the appropriate sighting
cross on the jig.
3 Repeat steps (d) to (g).
4 Switch the switch LDG LIGHT and the electrical network off.
(h) Install the cover (16) and the light cover W8L (Fig. 06-2) again.
