(1) Removal taxi light
(a) Switch the electrical network off and disconnect the battery.
(b) Remove the light cover W8R (Fig. 062).
(c) Unscrew the bolts (17, Fig. 33-10) and remove the cover (16).
(d) Remove the nut (9), washer (10), bolt (8) and slightly pull the light out including the
bracket (3).
(e) Disconnect wires with the connector (2) from the harness and remove the light
including the bracket (3).
(f) Remove the nuts (9), washers (10), bolts (8) and remove the bracket (3).
(g) Remove the nuts (13), washers (14; 15), spacers (11), bolts (12) as necessary and
remove the bracket (7).
(2) Installation taxi light
(a) Adjust the bracket (7, Fig. 33-10) between the holders (18; 19) as necessary and
attach it with bolts (12), spacers (11), nuts (13) and washers (14; 15). Slightly
tighten the nuts.
(b) If you install a new light, crimp new contacts on wires of the light and install the
connector (refer to the table Recommended tools and material).
(c) Align the light (1) with the bracket (3) and attach it with bolts (4), nuts (5) and
washers (6).
(d) Connect wires with the connector (2) to the harness.
(e) Put the light including the bracket (3) on the bracket (7) and attach it with the bolt
(8), nut (9) and washer (10). Slightly tighten the nut.
(f) Adjust the light (refer to par. 2 E.(3)).
(g) Install the light cover W8R (Fig. 06-2).
(3) Adjustment / test taxi light
(a) Lift the airplane and align it in a horizontal position (Section 08-10) so that the
leveling point NiB 2 is approx. 980 mm from the floor.
(b) Remove the light cover W8R (Fig. 06-2), remove the bolts (17, Fig. 33-10) and
remove the cover (16).
(c) Put the test jig 7810E2550001 in front of the airplane to a position defined by the
distance from the leveling point NiB 3 and the edge of the skin at cutout for the light
in accordance with Fig. 33-9.
(d) Put the jig 7910S7911099 on the light.
(e) Switch the electrical network and the switch TAXI LIGHT on.
(f) Make sure that the cone of light falls to the center of the appropriate sighting cross
on the jig (see Fig. 33-9).
(g) Remove the jig, switch the switch TAXI LIGHT and the electrical network off.
If the cone of light does not falls to the center of the appropriate sighting cross on
the jig, adjust the light in accordance with this procedure:
