(2) Removal – airbox
(a) Switch the electrical network off and disconnect the battery.
(b) Remove the engine cowlings (Section 71-10).
(c) Remove the clamps (23, Fig. 71–7) of the connecting hoses (6; 7).
(d) Remove the wire (24) attaching the hoses (19) and (20) to the airbox (1); pull down
the hoses from the outlets on the airbox (1).
(e) Remove the nut (35) and remove the washer (34) connecting the silent block (5)
with the strut of the airbox (4).
(f) Remove the clamps (23) for attachment of the inlet hoses of cold air (8) and hot air
(9).
(g) Pull down the inlet air hoses (8) and (9) from the necks of the airbox (1).
(h) Unlock the clamps (22) of the drain hose (16) of the left sump (2). Use the same
procedure for the drain hose of the right sump (3). The right hose isn´t shown and it
is a mirror image of the hose (16). Pull down the hoses from the outlets of the drain
sumps (2) and (3).
