(f) Valid for the smaller oil cooler P/N 886027:
1 Unscrew and remove the screw fitting (3), reductions (4) and the sealing (5).
2 Unscrew and remove the nuts (6) and remove the cooler (1) with the cover
(2) and the washers (7).
3 Close the cooler necks and the hoses with suitable blind plugs.
(2) Installation – oil cooler
(a) Remove the blind plugs from the cooler necks and from the hoses.
(b) Position the cooler (1, Fig. 79-3) with the cover (2) and the washers (7) to the holder
(18) on the firewall and attach it by means of the nuts (6).
(c) Set the sealing rings (5) on the reductions (4) and screw them into the cooler necks.
(d) Valid for the original version of the cooler installation:
1 Position the lower strut (11) to the suspension on the cooler and attach it by
means of the bolt (10), nut (9) and the washer (10).
2 Screw the screw fittings (3) on the reductions and tighten them.
3 Fill the system with oil (Section 12-10).
4 Do the engine test and check the tightness.
5 Install the engine cowlings (Section 71-10).
(e) Valid for the new version of cooler installation:
1 Set the cooler strut on the shock absorber (12) and tighten it by means of
the nut (15) and the washer (16).
2 Screw the screw fittings (3) on the reductions and tighten them.
3 Fill the system with oil (Section 12-10).
4 Connect the battery, switch the electrical network on.
5 Do the engine test and check the tightness.
6 Install the engine cowlings (Section 71-10).
(f) Valid for the smaller oil cooler P/N 886027:
1 Screw the screw fittings (3) on the reductions and tighten them.
2 Fill the system with oil (Section 12-10).
3 Connect the battery, switch the electrical network on.
4 Do the engine test and check the tightness.
5 Install the engine cowlings (Section 71-10).
