B. Cooler strut
Maintenance type: Line
Personnel qualification: Independent verification personnel qualified in accordance with
Part 66 or higher
Recommended tools and material:

NOTE
If the oil cooler P/N 886027 is installed, the cooler strut is not
mounted.
(1) Removal – cooler strut
(a) Switch the electrical network off and disconnect the battery.
(b) Remove the engine cowlings (Section 71-10).
(c) Disconnect the strut from the cooler (see par. 2 A.(c)1 or (d)1.
(d) Valid for the original version of the strut:
1 Unscrew and remove the nuts (15, Fig. 79-3
), washers (16); remove the
shock absorber (12) and disconnect the strut.
2 Unscrew and remove the nut (9), washer (10), bolt (8) and disconnect the
upper strut (13) from the attachment (14).
(e) Valid for the new version of the strut:
1 Unscrew and remove the lower nut (15, Fig. 79-3
), washer (16) and (8) and
remove the shock absorber (12).
2 Unscrew and remove the nut (9), washer (10), bolt (8) and disconnect the
upper strut (13) from the attachment (14).
