A. Cleaning of the airplane surface
The exterior surface of the airplane (especially leading edges of wings) and the propeller must
be kept clean in order to maintain the flight characteristics of the airplane
The exterior surface of metallic and fiberglass parts of the airplane has a durable coat which
keeps good gloss characteristics under normal conditions and it does not require frequent
polishing. During normal operation (e.g. after the end of the flight day) use water with cleaning
agent to rinse the dirty airplane surface (especially insects). After you rinse it with clean water,
wipe the airplane surface dry.
Thoroughly clean the airplane and renew the preservation of the painted surface of the airplane
at least twice a year (e.g. before and after winter operation). The quality preservative coat will
protect the painted surface of the airplane from sun rays and it will prevent its oxidation. You
can use a quality car wax.
