Settings for measurement DMP30 / DMP40
parameter (time interval) set in Scan measuring mode, a measured reading is
acquired every x seconds as the surface is being scanned. After n measured
readings, automatic measured reading acquisition stops. The measurement cy-
cle is repeated when the probe is applied again. The setting for the number of
measured readings per block in the Block Size is used as the number of mea-
sured readings.
Before you start
The batch for which you want to make the changes is open in the gauge.
To select a measuring mode
1. > Batch Modify > OK > More Settings > OK > Measure Mode > OK > select
desired mode > OK
Parameter is activated:
2. Have you selected the Scan measuring mode?
• No: continue with step 6.
• Yes: Continue with step 3.
3. Select the Scan Mode on the page with the same name: Scan Settings > OK >
select the desired Scan Mode > OK
Parameter is activated:
4. Have you selected the Scan Mode Counted Average?
• No: continue with step 6.
• Yes: Continue with step 5.
5. Set the interval time and, if required, the number of measured readings:
Interval time [s] > OK > set desired value > OK.
Repeat step 5. for the Number of Readings parameter, provided you have
selected 3. Limited Number in step.
6. Exit the menu: , the settings are now made.
In the Measurement view, depending on the measuring mode selected, the cor-
responding icon appears to indicate the active function, a description of the
icons can be found on 9.
