11.5 Emulation
Setting menu
Log in to machine administrator mode to configure settings.
Port Settings
If [Device] > [Connectivity & Network Setup] > [Port Settings] is tapped, the port is started or stopped.
Starting of ports (USB/LPD/IPP/Port9100/WSD (Web Services on Devices))
Tap ports to be used in emulation mode.
USB - Print Mode specification
Configure the processing method of data received from the host machine. If emulation mode is configured here,
“Switching Languages Automatically” explained in "Switching Print Languages" (P.263) is not performed.
Note
Print modes can also be specified for each protocol using CentreWare Internet Services.
Allocate Memory
Tap [Device] > [App Settings] > [Print Settings] > [Allocate Memory].
Note
When storage is installed, the setting cannot be changed.

Delete Form
Tap [Device] > [App Settings] > [Print Settings] > [Delete Form], and then select the mode from which to delete the
form.
