11. Rotate the stopper to the left to lock it.
12. Clean the LED printhead for the drum cartridge you have replaced.
For information on how to clean the LED printheads, refer to "Cleaning the Interior (LED Printheads)" (P.205).
13. Return the conveyance box to the original position.
14. Rotate the handle clockwise to lock the box.
15. Close the front cover.
Replacing the Waste Toner Container
After printing, the toner which remains in the drum is collected in the Waste Toner Container. The following
messages appear on the touch panel display when the replacement interval of the Waste Toner Container is
approaching.
Note
Make sure that the power is on when replacing the Waste Toner Container.
When replacing the Waste Toner Container, the collected toner may still and dirty the floor. Place a sheet on the floor
before starting the work.
