8.1 Replacing Consumables
5. Pull out the fusing unit while holding the handles on both sides.
6. Grab the handles on both ends of the new fusing unit, insert it in alignment with the slots, and gently push
until you hear a click.
7. Return the lock levers to their original position.
8. Close the top cover on the left side.
9. Press the <Power/Power Saver> button to turn on the machine.
Replacing staples (when Finisher-B3 is installed)
When the machine runs out of staples, a message appears on the touch panel display.
When the device is in Power Saver mode, wake the device from the Power Saver mode by pressing the <Power/Power
Saver> button and press [Machine Status] on the Home screen before you replace the staple cartridge.
Before replacing the staple cartridge, press [Machine Status] on the Home screen and check the status of the staple
cartridge even when the touch panel display is on.
1. Make sure that the device is not operating, and open the finisher front cover.
