3.5 Loading Paper
The envelope tray cannot detect the envelope size automatically. Select the envelope size on the control panel.

Loading Paper (When the Tandem Tray Module is Installed)
in Tray 3 ((Tandem Tray Module) (Optional))
1. Pull out the tray until it stops.
2. Remove any paper loaded in the tray.
3. Pinch the paper guide and slide it to the desired paper size.
4. Load the paper with the print side facing up and its leading edge aligned with the left side of the paper tray.
Important
Do not load paper above the maximum fill line (the position “MAX”). It may cause paper jams.
When using punched paper, load the punched paper as shown in the illustration.
