6. Push the staple cartridge into the finisher until it clicks into place.
7. Close the finisher front cover.
Replacing side-stitch staples (when C3 Finisher or C3 Finisher
with Booklet Maker is installed)
A message appears on the touch panel display according to the remaining amount of staples.
Note
When the device is in Power Saver mode, wake the device from the Power Saver mode by pressing the <Power/Power
Saver> button and press [Machine Status] on the Home screen before you replace the staple cartridge.
Before replacing the staple cartridge, press [Machine Status] on the Home screen and check the status of the correct
staple cartridge even when the touch panel display is on.
1. Make sure that the device is not operating, and open the finisher front cover.
2. While grasping the lever of the staple cartridge holder “R1”, pull out the staple cartridge holder to the right
(towards you).
