3.5 Loading Paper
Make sure to load paper when the power is on.
Do not load paper of different types in the same paper tray.
Do not remove paper from or add paper to the paper trays during printing. Doing so may result in paper jam.
When the machine runs out of paper during printing, a message appears on the touch panel display. Add paper according
to the message instructions. Printing automatically resumes when paper is added.
Fanning the paper
Fan the paper before loading it in the paper tray.
1. By holding one side of the paper, fan the paper as shown in the illustration.
2. Flip the paper upside down, and fan the paper in the same manner.
3. Loosen the paper.
4. Repeat the above procedure several times before finally aligning all four sides of the paper.
