Install a new staple cartridge for saddle
stitch by holding pawls on both sides in
position, and press it down lightly until
you hear it click into place.

Return the unit to its original position.

Close the front cover of the finisher.
A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the finisher's front cover is even
slightly open.
