3.1 Create Volume

■ Automatically selecting destinations to create volumes
For Standard, TPV, SDV, SDPV, or NAS volumes, the destinations for creating volumes can be selected
automatically.
The procedure to create volumes by selecting destinations automatically is as follows:
Procedure
1 Click [Create] in [Action].
2 Select "Automatic" for "RAID Group/TPP Selection".
3 Specify the volume detailed information.
The main setting items are as follows.
● New Volume
• Name
• Capacity
• Type
• Capacity of source volume only SDV
• Allocation (not displayed for the ETERNUS DX60 S3)
• NAS FS Block Size
• Data Integrity (not displayed for the ETERNUS DX60 S3)
● Automatic Setting
• Drive Type
• RAID Level
• Key Group
• Number of Volumes
