ERROR 101
UV Monitor Failure
Switch instrument Off, then On again.
Note:
This Error message is displayed only during
switching on, as part of the power on self test.
1. Clean UV flow cell; refer to ÄKTA start Operating
instructions.
2. Tighten Flow cell and flush it clean with DM water.
3. Tap Continue.
4. Go to Settings and service screen and perform UV
LED calibration.

1. Replace the Flow cell. Follow the Flow cell
replacement procedure.
2. Tap Continue on the error display.
3. Perform UV LED calibration.
Switch instrument Off, then On again.

1. Switch the instrument Off.
2. Disassemble the UV Monitor.
3. Replace the UV Monitor and Flow cell.
4. Switch instrument On.
Error message still
displayed?
Contact GE Service Engineer.
Proceed with your work.
