3.14.1 Firmware update
NOTICE
Before tapping the Firmware update ensure that the system is
connected to a stable source of power such as a UPS. During
firmware update the system should not be switched off.
Prerequisites
•
USB memory stick with at least 10 MB free space.
•
Delete any previous AKTASTRT.src files located on the USB memory stick.
•
Download the latest AKTASTRT.src file from the product support page onto the USB
memory stick, refer to (www.gelifesciences.com/AKTAstart).
Instructions
Follow the instructions below to update the firmware.
ActionStep
Plug the USB memory stick into the USB port located on ÄKTA start.1
In the System screen, tap Firmware update.2
Result: The following screen opens.
