Why is my GE ReadyToProcess WAVE 25 displaying an incorrect weight?
    • B
      Barry SantosAug 23, 2025
If your GE Laboratory Equipment displays an incorrect weight, there are several potential causes. Ensure that the weight distribution on the rocker feet is even, following the instructions in Section 5.3.3 Add and equilibrate culture medium, on page 138. Also, verify the rocker is placed on a horizontal surface. If the tare wasn't done before adding the load, enter the correct net weight and press tare; if the correct weight is unknown, remove all load and tare the scale. Check for any mechanical obstructions to the rocker, such as a tray not firmly locked, tubing pulling on the Cellbag bioreactor, or any other obstruction to the rocker's movement. Finally, the scale may need calibration; see Section 6.1 Calibration, on page 151. If needed, contact GE service personnel.

Why is temperature control not functioning on my GE ReadyToProcess WAVE 25?
    • C
      Cassandra RyanAug 25, 2025
If your GE Laboratory Equipment's temperature control isn't functioning, or the displayed temperature appears incorrect, it might be because the temperature sensor isn't in contact with the culture medium. Make sure there's enough culture medium in the Cellbag bioreactor to cover the temperature sensor, even when the rocker is rocking. Check for any creases with air pockets on the Cellbag bioreactor film covering the sensor, and ensure that pH or DO cables aren't touching the temperature sensor. It's also possible the temperature sensor needs calibration; see Section 6.1 Calibration, on page 151. If needed, contact GE service personnel.

How to fix CBCU not recognized by UNICORN in GE ReadyToProcess WAVE 25 Laboratory Equipment?
    • J
      josesinghAug 27, 2025
If the CBCU (Central Bedside Control Unit) is not recognized by UNICORN on your GE Laboratory Equipment, first check the CBCU CAN ID. If it is incorrect, change the CAN ID using the switch on the CBCU rear panel, referring to CAN ID, on page 54 for details. Remember to switch off the system before changing the CAN ID, and then restart it. Also, ensure that the CBCU is selected as a component by clicking Edit in System Properties in the Administration module and adding the CBCU as a component.

What to do if the pump is not recognized by UNICORN on GE Laboratory Equipment?
    • K
      keithduncanAug 27, 2025
If the pump is not recognized by UNICORN in your GE Laboratory Equipment, check the pump CAN ID. If it is incorrect, change the CAN ID using the switch on the pump rear panel, referring to CAN ID, on page 57 for details. Each pump must have a unique CAN ID value. Remember to switch off the system before changing the CAN ID, and then restart it. Also, ensure that the pump is selected as a component by clicking Edit in System Properties in the Administration module and adding the pump as a component.

Why is the heating too slow or too fast on my GE ReadyToProcess WAVE 25 Laboratory Equipment?
    • M
      Mrs. Cynthia WalkerSep 3, 2025
If your GE Laboratory Equipment is heating too slowly or too fast, check and reset the bag size setting if it is incorrect. Remember to turn off the rocking when changing the bag size. Also, ensure that the rocker is placed in a horizontal position and check that the weight shown in the Process Picture matches the actual weight of the culture medium. If not, tare the scale with the weight of the content in the Cellbag entered as Net Weight.
