Maintenance and Service
When the instrument's fuse has burned out, replace it as
described below.
9.4 Replacing the Fuse
• To avoid electric shock when replacing the
fuse, first disconnect the test leads from
the battery to be measured. After replacing
the fuse, replace the fuse cover and
screws before using the instrument.
• Replace the fuse only with one of the spec-
ified characteristics. Using a non-specified
fuse or shorting the fuse holder may cause
a life-threatening hazard.

acting, F315mAH / 250 V, high breaking
capacity 1,500A

2. Using a Phillips screw
driver, remove the batter
cover on the rear of th
instrument.
3. Remove the burned-ou
fuse and replace it with
new one that meet
required specifications.
4. Replace the fuse cove
and tighten the screw.
