9.7 Discarding the Instrument
• When disposing of this instrument, remove
the lithium battery and dispose of battery
and instrument in accordance with local
regulations.
• To avoid electrocution, turn off the power
switch and disconnect the test lead before
removing the lithium battery.

2. Using a Phillips screw

screws from the batter

cover on the rear side o

the instrument.
3. Remove the cable protrud

ing from the batter
y
holder.
4. Remove the upper panel.
5. Use tweezers or a simila
r
tool to remove the lithium
battery from the lowe
r
panel.
