Why is the CHARGE indicator blinking on my Hitachi DZ-MV2000E AC adapter?
    • G
      grahambriannaAug 20, 2025
If the CHARGE indicator on your Hitachi Camcorder's AC adapter is blinking, it could be because the ambient temperature is too low or too high. Charge the battery in an environment where the temperature is between 10 – 30ºC. The battery may have also discharged excessively. Continue charging; after a while, the battery will charge to the specified voltage, and the CHARGE indicator will light, indicating normal charging.

If your Hitachi Camcorder turns off unexpectedly, check if the Power Save feature is set to “On.” When “Power Save: On” is specified, the camcorder will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery power. To continue recording, set the power switch to “OFF” and then back to “O”. Alternatively, you can disable the automatic power off by setting “Power Save: Off”.
