The AUTO icon on the
display goes out when the
system is operating
manually.

Allow the system to stabilise
before changing settings.
Air conditioning
.
Press # (G) to switch the air
conditioning on and off.

bar (A) when switched on.

when switched off.
Note:

When 4 or / or 5 is
selected, the air conditioning
is automatically switched on.

To conserve fuel, the air
conditioning may switch off in
cold weather.
Other climate control
functions are maintained.

Air conditioning removes
moisture and h eat from
the air.
.
Switch the air conditioning on
for at least 5 to 10 minutes
once every 2 weeks to
lubricate the system, even in
winter.

Air conditioning cannot be
turned off in demist mode.
.
Air conditioning may switch
off during heavy acceleration,
when towing, or when there
is abnormal system pressure.
Recirculation

Press / (L) to switc h t he air
intake between recirculated air
and outside air.

Note:

Recirculation r euses interior
air so is not recommended
for long periods of time.
If left on, fresh air is l et into
the cabin periodically.

Do not use re circulation if
occupants are smoking.

Recirculation c annot be
activated in demist mode.
Pollution mode
.
Pollution mode selects
recirculation when the vehicle
speed is less than 15 km/h to
prevent exhaust fumes entering
the interior in heavy, stop/start
traffic.

To switch on or off, press /
and hold for 4 seconds.
.
Pollution Mode ON or Pollution
Mode OFF appears on the
display.
