If the engine speed becomes too
low for the currently selected
gear, the transmission will
automatically shift down, even
though A/S mode is still
selected.

While in A/S mode, 2nd or 3rd
gear starts (V8) or 2nd gear
starts (V6) can be selected from
a standing start. This is useful
for gentle acceleration on
slippery surfaces.

V8, when vehicle speed is
14 km/h or less, engine speed is
limited to 5,000 RPM.
To disable A/S mode and return to
automatic mode, push the gear
lever to the right to position D.
The Normal Shift animation
appears on the display for
2 seconds.
At the bottom of the display, D is
displayed.
Brakes
Antilock Brake
System (ABS)
The ABS:

Continuously monitors the
vehicle’s braking system
preventing the wheels from
locking.

Allows maximum braking effort
while retaining full steering
control, even in the ev ent of
panic braking.
