Front Seats
Seat Position

WARNING
To avoid reducing the
effectiveness of seatbelts,
seatbacks should only be upright
or at most semi-reclined when the
vehicle is moving.

WARNING
Do not fit unauthorised seat
covers. These may interfere wi th
the operation of the side impact
airbags (SIAB).
Always sit centrally in the seat.
Do not place any object between
the seat and the door. See Airbag
System on page 3‑11

Do not adjust the dri ver’s seat
while the vehicle is m oving, as
the seat could move suddenly
cau sing the driver t o lose control.

WARNING
Before moving the seat, ensure
that the path both in front of and
behind the seat is clear of
obstructions.
The vehicle may have the following
levers and switches for seat
adjustment.
Forwards/Backwards (Type A)
Move the seat forwards or
backwards by lifting the bar at the
front and sliding the seat.
Release the bar to re-engage the
latch.
