regulatory body in your State or
Territory for the legal
requirements of trailer brakes.
Running-in when towing
It is recommended that a new
vehicle be driven for at least
1,500 km before towing.
If towing is necessary before this,
do not exceed 80 km/h. This also
applies if the vehicle is fitted with a
new or reconditioned engine,
transmission, or rear axle.
Vehicle maintenance
More frequent vehicle maintenance
is required when using the vehicle
to tow. Refer to the Service/
Warranty Booklet in the vehicle's
glovebox.

Fitting driving lights or insect
screens
Do not fit any accessory over the
upper or lower air intakes at the
front of the vehicle, as this may
affect engine cooling.

CAUTION
In high load and high temperature
applications (e.g. t owing), no
objects should be fitted over the
upper or lower air intake at the
front of the vehicle, as this could
affect cooling.
Fitting roo/nudge bars
If a roo/nudge bar is to be fitted, it is
critical that the Holden approved
roo/nudge bar i s used. Other types
must not be fitted.
The Holden roo/nudge bar is
available from a Holden Dealer and
has been compatibility tested with
the vehicle’s design, including the
Holden airbag system.
