Note: The battery in both vehicl es
must have a negative earth and a
12 volt rating.

1. Position the two vehicles so that
they are NOT touching.
2. Apply the parking brakes.
3. Place the gear lever in
position P.
4. Switch off the ignition.
5. Turn off all lights and
accessories in both vehicles,
except the hazard warning
flashers or any lights needed for
the work area.
