3.3 LONWORKS COMMUNICATIONS BOARD
The LonWorks Communications Board can be installed in the Transmitter Unit by a single person.

Note: DonotinstallacommunicationsboardintoaULorCSAcertiedTransmitterUnit.
Refer to the General Installation Guidelines at the beginning of this chapter.
Fittingtheboardshouldbecarriedoutbyaqualiedtechnician.
Electrical interconnections for the communications board are made at the same time as mechanical
installation by means of plugs attached to the communications board. These plugs mate with existing
socketsonthemainPCBttedtotheApexTransmitterUnitlid.
OncetheboardisttedanyexternalLonWorksnetworkwiringrequiredisconnected.
