Solving External Keyboard Problems

USB driver has

Unload the USB driver.

external keyboard

More than five
seconds elapsed

pressed the Scroll
Lock key twice.
Press the hotkey command
within five seconds after
pressing the Scroll Lock key
twice within a second.
Connect the keyboard to a
different keyboard/mouse
connector.
External keyboard is

Solving External Monitor Problems
The following information may help solve overhead projector
problems as well as external monitor problems. If the external
monitor or overhead projector is connected to a USB connector,
refer also to “Solving USB Problems” in this chapter.
